Nak protest jugak la!

Standard

Sekarang kan musim negara-negara sebelah middle east ni protest. Lepas Egypt, baru-baru ni Bahrain & Jordan and now tengah hangat kat Libya pulak. Muammar Gaddaffi tu rupanya dah 42 tahun jadi Perdana Menteri. Lagi melampau! Kalau Ben Ali awal-awal dah angkat kaki lari ke Jeddah & Hosni Mubarak surrender letak jawatan lepas 2 minggu rakyat Mesir protest, Gaddaffi ni memang lain sikit. Setakat hari ni, dia bukan saja tak lari, bunyi nak letak jawatan pun takde. Malahan dia lagi boleh keluar kat tempat orang berkumpul tu dan beri kenyataan. Siap salahkan Osama bin Laden & Al- Qaeda yang initiate the protest.

Sudan biasa la, orang lain protest diaorang pun sibuk nak protest. Terkini semalam dalam 200 orang keluar protest. Halang main road kat tengah-tengah bandar Khartoum. Tapi sebab diaorang protest tu kelakar la. Bila saya dapat tau sebabnya tu, saya tergelak guling-guling! ok saya tipu…saya tak berguling  tapi gelak terbahak-bahak la jugak. HAHAHA!

U all nak tau sebab ape?

Nah, baca kat sini. apsal tak boleh nak link pulak ni.

February 24, 2011 (KHARTOUM) – Hundreds of young men and women staged demonstrations in East Khartoum on Thursday blocking one of the capital’s main roads for nine hours to protest removing traffic lights and turning the street into a highway.

The residents have attributed recent upsurge in deadly accidents to the changes made to the road. Eyewitnesses told Sudan Tribune that five people were killed yesterday in a car wreck including four women.

One angry demonstrator claimed that 200 people were killed in road accidents over the last few months. The people demanded the presence of Khartoum state governor Abdel-Rahman Al-Khidir to convey their demands rejecting talking to any official below him.

As a result, riot police and plain-clothed security men surrounded the demonstration, the largest yet, which stopped all movement on the capital’s main goods route for most of the working day. However, they were met with stone throwing facing them to retreat.

The force’s commanding officer prevented use of tear gas against the protesters for unknown reasons but Reuters said that this was due to the presence of a full gas tanker in the middle of the protesters.

“Liars, liars,” the protesters shouted at government officials.

Sudan has built numerous highways through the capital but with little enforcement of road laws, traffic is chaotic and there are few pedestrian crossings. Hundreds die on the roads every year.

After the road was blocked for most of the day, government officials brought in trucks to start work on traffic lights after which the gathering voluntarily dispersed.

As long as tak accident, mafi musykillah! Yang berjalan kaki, nak melintas jalan, lintas je, tak payah tengok kiri-kanan.

Tapi itu jam protest, itu jam jugak dapat!
